I am a costume and fabrics addict, as long as it comes to costumes I like. I have been sewing for over a quarter of a century, of these eight years professionally. At present I am most interested in the Elizabethan and Victorian period.

Here are some things about my journal which might interest you:

- First, if you are not on my friends list, then it might seem that I update my journal rarely. Now - while I don't update it often, I still update it probably more often than you can see - but that's because most entries are firends only and you can't see them ;-)
- Second, I am very picky when it comes to my friends list (as you might see from the low number of people being there). I need to 'know' you before I add you, as far as this is possible for 'knowing' people just over the net. If you add me to your friends list, this is absolutely no guarantee that I will add you back. I will look over your journal from time to time, though, to find out if you are one of the people I'd like to have on my f-list.
- Third, *if* you end up on my friends list, don't be too surprised if I don't comment much. I'm far from being the world best commenter - I only comment if I have something to say that I consider valuable to you.
I am also always very, no: brutally honest with *my* personal opinion *if* I comment, though those comments, of course, just reflect *my* personal opinion which you are by no means forced to adopt.
So if I think you did something wrong, I will tell you so. I expect the same from you. I am not a backpatter who will just pat your back each time you did something well and shut up when you did something wrong. I give and want to receive constructive criticism from the people I have on my friends list. I like constructive discussions, meaning an exchange of opinions, which by no means has to end up in a fight.
The constructive criticism also includes my spelling and grammar, of course. I am not a native English speaker, so I am always open for people pointing me to any mistakes I might make so that I can make it better the next time ;-)
